Deceptive is the fact that ctags binary is named exuberant-ctags.

as with other things like umount, naming convention of software is very irrational in Linux, thats the only thing i don't like about it. but u see in Linux, which more than a piece of code is the social machine knit around the globe, such things thou not expected are acceptable ;-)
